November 2024 Update: Installation for the treatment of copper electric wires | M150PRO

In November2024, the installation of the M150PRO copper cable recyclingplant was completed at the new facility of Remeta S.A., located in Queretaro, Mexico. Remeta S.A. is one of the leading players in the Mexican metal recovery sector.

To provide even closer technical and commercial support to its customers, Stokkermill Mexico was established in 2023, also based in Queretaro. The branch is managed by administrator José Garcia and sales manager Gonzalo De La Rosa.

M150PRO: Technological Evolution in Recycling

The M150PRO model represents the latest evolution of the historic M150, considered the flag ship of Stokkermill for medium-capacity plants. This new version incorporates numerous technological updates, including:

  • Advanced management and control: Using a PLC system, it is possible to monitor and regulate the main operating functions.
  • Digital accessibility: The plant can be managed via the Stokkermill web application, accessible from a PC or smartphone, allowing work parameters to be monitored and consumption and productivity analyzed.
  • Remote assistance: A dedicated system enables the manufacturer to remotely verify and resolve any operating anomalies.

With a production capacity exceeding 1000 kg/h (approximately 2000lb/h), the system is equipped with:

  • CSR1400 single-shaft primary shredder: Capable of processing standard cables, armored cables, and Tek cables in copper/aluminum, even with large diameters.
  • Zig-Zag separator: Designed to recover copper fractions with larger granules.
  • Turbo refiner: Ideal for processing thin cables, such as telephone and data cables.

The M150PROplant is also capable of processing mixed copper/aluminum materials, including radiators from vehicle demolitions or industrial air conditioning systems.
